Description

I saw the Hobbit, desolation of Smaug.  So I had to draw an androgenous elf thing.  I started off making her a girl, but then she was a dude, and then I gave her horns and decided that she/he didn't need eyes, and then I put lace on his/her shirt, and it just kept going and going.  I'm calling it quits for tonight though.

I'm totally new to digital painting, and I'm thinking about getting a drawing tablet soon.
Do you have to keep switching between the tablet and the mouse for brushes and things? And is it diffucult not seeing your work on the actual tablet?
